Mood Board.

Picture 1 - My picture four shows a picture of a screaming blonde girl. The screaming girl is shown as quite vulnerable as the stereotype of a vulnerable girl is quite pretty, blonde, not very intelligent, and being home alone. This is the stereotype because that sort of girl is seen to not know how to get her self out of bad situations and would be the ideal girl an antagonist would go for.

Picture 2 - The second image is of a shower curtain, this seems random but for our opening two minutes its a must as its the prop that creates tension and reveals the main antagonist because of the way the character opens it slowly which create a long paste shot, making the audience feel fear.

Picture 3- My picture one shows us an antagonist. He looks creepy as he has a mask on with just eyes and mouth cut out; this can make the audience feel scared as they don't really know what he looks like which takes his identity away and can make them feel on edge. This is one of the main antagonists that we will include in our film because we like the fact that he has a mask on because we think it makes it seem a lot more creepy. As the audience doesn't know what he really looks like it can relate to real life fears of not knowing someones real identity.

Picture 4 and 5- Picture five shows a picture of woods. This makes the audience feel scared because woods have a creepy vibe to them especially if you are on your own because you do not know who is around you and who could be watching you as there are lots of places to hide and it is very big. Quite a lot of people have woods around them, this shows mundane realism because it will make people link the film into there own woods that are nearest to them and could make them not want to walk down there anymore as it will remind them of the film.

Picture 6 - Picture five shows a picture of a scary looking knife. This is on my mood board because weapons like this are usually shown as very scary and frightening to the audience. It is also used mundane realism in a way because although peoples knifes in there homes don't usually look like this they still own knifes, this can make people worried about weapons in there own homes that they never thought were bad. I have put a knife as the weapon because this type of weapon seems more scary compared to weapons like a gun. Knifes are also seen as a painful thing and what a antagonist would use to torchure someone.

Picture 7- Picture seven shows a picture of a house. the house looks fairly normal, it will be set down a normal street as well so that people can link it into mundane realism because there houses would be down a street. The house will be medium size so that it is big enough for the audience to feel lost in it however they can still link it into there own houses.

Picture 8- My picture two is also an antagonist. This sort of antagonist relates to younger children as they are sometimes included in films to make a scary effect. The little girl looks sort of possessed which makes the creepy effect. Her face is also covered my long dark hair which makes the audience feel even more scared as they do not know what she looks like making her identity taken away and can come across creepy and not very welcoming. We will use this girl in our film as it will show mundane realism as most people will have a daughter/sister or someone of that age range in there life that they can link the antagonist to.

Picture 9- i have used a picture of a eye looking through a key hole because i think it looks mysterious as we do not know what they are looking at. It links into our film because we will set part of our film in a house and the key hole will be from the bathroom looking into the hall. A key hole also represents being locked. This could show the audience that the person inside the bathroom is in a way trapped which can make the audience feel even more scared as people don't like the feeling of being stuck and not being able to get out.
